We’re looking for sponsors to make your Ignite Durham event a success. Ignite Durham showcases the amazing diverse talents and interests of Durham, RTP and the Triangle at large. It is organized entirely by unpaid volunteers and our sponsors truly make this event possible. Sponsorships go to covering costs to produce Ignite events in the Triangle. Ignite has generated such a buzz in the Triangle that we are now producing a show in Durham at the prestigious Carolina Theatre.
We love our sponsors and do our very best to promote them throughout the event as well as to our large social networks and on our websites. Sponsor logos are projected on the screen before and after the event and well as during intermissions. We play your feature video during the event for the audience. We also ask for donations and door prizes and will negotiate this to be included in the sponsorship level of your choice. If you have brochures or schwag you’d like to distribute, we’ll have a place to set up for that as well. We had approximately 560 guests in attendance at Ignite Raleigh 1 in August 2009 and approximately 700 guests attend Ignite Raleigh 2 in March 2010. Nearly 16000 votes have been placed by the audience in support of the community selection of our Ignite speakers.

How to Sponsor?
1. Let us know what level of sponsorship you would like by contacting us at contact@ignitedurham.com or DM @IgniteDurham.
2. Send us a large, high-resolution logo (.eps is best) we can display on our website and project at the event.
3. We accept Paypal, credit cards and checks for payment.
A few FAQ’s:
Can sponsors give away promotional items or product samples during the event? In most cases, yes. We’ll have a table set up to display sponsors’ printed materials. Feel free to give away branded t-shirts, cups and other schwag during the event.
How about ‘in-kind’ sponsorships? Sometimes we do these if it’s a good fit. Drop us a line and let us know what you have in mind.
What are your requirements on the sponsor videos? 30 seconds long, any standard video format will do. The content is entirely up to you. They’re will be due 7 days before the event.
